Anthropic заборонила OpenClaw: що це означає для користувачів Claude?
Codeex

Hey guys, what is going on? This is just going to be a quick one from me. I just want to talk about this because this might affect people who watch my channel. Now, as a lot of you may know, Anthropic has been in a war with Open Claw for a while now, and they finally have done something that kind of makes them win this war. So, Anthropic has officially banned Open Claw usage. I wouldn't quite say that that was a fair way to put this, but this is the important thing at the bottom right here. So, as you can see, it says, "Starting April the 4th at 12 p.m., you'll no longer be able to use your Claw subscription limits for third party harnesses, including OpenClaw and obviously probably pay as well. You can still use them with your Claude account, but they will require extra usage, a pay as you go option built separately from your subscription. So basically you cannot use your clawed max subscription anymore in order to run open claw or paperclipip etc etc. So you can see here I wanted to verify this so I went on and I basically went on Google looked for a little bit more information. Enthropic is cutting off third party harnesses open etc from subscription limits starting April the 4th. Here's what this means. Just got this email blah blah blah. And then a load of other people are saying sad move. This will send a wave of customers to open AI. I don't know if it will or if people will just start using clawed code instead. Seems like people are pretty annoyed with this. As you can see, this is a obviously a sarcastic comment. I continue to be impressed by professional communication from anthropic between rolling out major changes with less than 24 hours on Friday afternoon and announcing changes on employees personal Twitter accounts. It's a class act to top to bottom over there. They're honestly a college group project masquerading as a business. I don't know about that. But yeah, this is a pretty big change and it basically means that things like Open Claw and also Paperclip are borderline useless to be honest with you. The only thing that can bring them back is if they release HiQ 4.6 for example or HiQ 5 or something and it's actually really really good. I think this is a very telling comment. Thankfully, I turned off my open claw a couple of weeks back and have been using cord for everything since. Man, has life been better. And then this [snorts] bro here says, I find coding in the terminal in claude code has been the best rather than having open core do it. So why even bother using openclaw, one might ask. To be honest, I have to say guys, I'm not that bothered to be honest about this. Like I think most of what you can do with paperclip/ openclaw you can actually do with claude code anyway. So, I mean, it wasn't really that important to use Open Claw in the first place, but this will piss off a lot of people. Yeah. So, this is a really, really good point. I'll admit I don't know mo a lot about platforms like OpenCore, but if these folks are stressing the system, yeah, I love it. That's really really good. That's a good point. Um, we've all been experiencing problems with limits recently, and if this helps that problem, then personally, I'm all for it. Okay. So, yeah, this is a pretty interesting point here. This is from Anthropics uh documentation or articles it looks like. Is this a new article updated today? Yeah. So, this was updated today. Just before we continue the video, guys, quick shout out from our sponsor, me. This is harbor seo.ai and I'm currently trying to make it the best AI SEO content generator on the market. I'm adding new things basically every single day. I'm doing all of the support and I'm trying to make this better and better all the time. So recently we shipped an update which made the writer significantly better. As you can see now the quality of the writing is just insanely good. This is using Sonic 4.6 and we have a keyword tool which is probably the most unique keyword tool on the market. And right now you can go and lock in the founder pricing with a free trial. So go and check out harse.ai. There's a link in the comment and in the pin description. You can see just how good this writer actually is. 93 pages published, 377 clicks, 35,000 impressions since February 2026. I'm extremely proud of what we're doing over there. Go and check out harborso.ai. Let's jump back into the video. So, as I was saying before, you can see here the preferred way to access anthropic services using thirdparty software tools or services third party tools including open source projects. So, open claw paperclip is through API key authentication through claw console or a supported cloud provider. Anthropic may at its discretion allow paid users who have enabled extra usage to use certain third-party tools to access anthropic services including in paid subcription plans but reserve the right to draw use of third party tool from extra usage rather than subscription limits. Very interesting. Users are responsible for any extra usage charges incurred in this way. Use of third party tools that their identity servers attempt to root third party traffic against limits otherwise violate applicable terms or policies is prohibited and such you use may be enforced against what and such use may be enforced against I don't know if I'm just stupid or not a lawyer but that sentence doesn't really make sense to me. Oh and such use may be enforced against okay that does make sense. Okay. So, yeah, basically what they're doing is they're getting rid of Open Claw. They're getting rid of paperclipip. And to be honest with you, after I made that video about OpenClip, I realized I'd used 100% of my Sonic usage for the entire week. So, I would wouldn't even recommend using these tools. I'm happy that they're doing this. The main reason is because the usage limits and the stupidity of Claude was getting so bad that you basically couldn't even use Claude anymore. So, the long and short of this guys is probably the usage limits will be sorted soon. Also, they're most likely going to drop uh Claude 5 next week. I'm guessing that's why they're doing this to prepare for that fact. They didn't want people, you know, destroying their servers using something like paperclipip. If you actually look at paperclipip, it uses way too much usage, guys. I didn't know that when I made that video, but now we know. And I wouldn't even recommend using paperclipip or open claw for that reason. It just uses too much usage. If you are an openclaw user, what are you going to do instead? I would probably recommend that you use codeex. Codeex gives you really, really good limits for 20 bucks a month. So you are able to actually use openclaw as much as you want. They're working with open AAI. It's not the best model necessarily, but if you use something like GBC 5.4 or mini, you can get really, really good bang for your buck. Or if you use a better model as well, you still get pretty good bang for your buck. So, if you're an OpenClaw user or a paperclip user watching this video, I'd recommend using Codeex. I will say that it's not as intelligent and it doesn't feel the same as someone who's used both Codeex and Claude for Paperclip. I can tell you that Claude feels significantly better, but nobody's going to be paying thousands of bucks a month just to run some AI agents, and you can no longer use your subscription. So yeah, I don't really know what to suggest. Codeex is probably the answer, but like I said, it doesn't feel the same. I think I'll leave the video there, guys. Thank you so much for watching. If you are watching all the way to the end of the video, you're an absolute legend. And I'll see you very, very soon with some more content. Peace out.
